Saturday 15th February 2025 - The Scottish Festival of Real Bread, a one-day celebration of community, sustainability, and local food systems, is back for its third year. Organised by Fife-based charity Bread for Good Community Benefit Society (better known as Scotland The Bread), the festival shines a spotlight on the transformative power of Real Bread and its potential to revolutionise Scotland’s food supply.

The Scottish Bread Championship 2023 were held at Bowhouse in Fife during Real Bread Week.
The three grant applications were approved at the November 2022 Board Meeting.
Well that’s a wrap for another year. The Scottish Bread Championship was hosted at the Royal Highland Show and generously sponsored by the Edinburgh Bakers Trust.

In the second round of Grants, £4,000 was awarded as follows:
The High Rise Bakers project operated 2 days per week, supporting volunteers to bake good nutritious bread and other tasty baking goods, which we sell.
A total of £3000 in grants were awarded in the first tranche of applications.
